Tamara completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a Minor in Commerce in 2016 and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2019 at the University of British Columbia. Since graduation, she has gained extensive experience in both public and private practice, working in hospital and clinical settings.
By providing guidance and education, Tamara strives to empower clients to play an active role in their own recovery. She incorporates the biopsychosocial model in her practice, enabling her clients to achieve their individual goals.
Committed to providing up-to-date, evidence-based treatment for her clients, Tamara has completed several post-graduate courses. Most recently, she has completed her Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Level 1 Certification from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopaedic Division and a certificate of completion in AN-IMS1.
Tamara enjoys treating a broad range of injuries in clients of all ages and backgrounds. Her previous experience as a varsity soccer player has generated a passion for sports injuries, which she treats both in clinic and at competition.
Outside of the clinic, Tamara can be found spending her time outdoors. She particularly enjoys hiking, running, and camping.
