Annmarie graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Simon Fraser University in 2021. She majored in Kinesiology with a concentration in active health and rehabilitation. Since graduating, Annmarie has gained experience working as a trainer. She’s passionate about helping her clients set and achieve their goals in a healthy, empowering manner and is excited to be working in an integrative health environment.
Annmarie has an interest in neuroscience and for the past three years, she has been working on completing a research project at Simon Fraser University. She hopes her work will help lead to the discovery of new rehabilitation techniques for stroke patients.
Annmarie’s personal experiences have helped her understand the importance of exercise for rehabilitation. She credits her passion for health and wellness to her swimming background and was a competitive swimmer and a member of the SFU Varsity swimming team from 2017-2021.
Outside of the clinic, Annmarie likes to spend her time at the gym, with friends or doing outdoor activities. She loves hiking, playing tennis, and paddleboarding in the summer, and skiing in the winter!
Fun fact, Annmarie is also fully bilingual in English and French and is passionate about travelling, having spent time exploring Europe, South and also Central America.
